eden marie.

I sewed this week. It felt good.

I also ate a bag of cookies in the car this morning. Approximately 8 large-ish cookies. {Okay not approximately. quite literally 8.} It felt good too.

Did you know that 1 out of every 3 women die of heart disease? Every 34 seconds. And nearly 2/3 of them didn't have any prior symptoms. It's from eating a whole bag of butter, I mean cookies, on the way to preschool.

yup.

So I shall buy myself a red dress and stop eating buckets of butter. And exercise, more. I Body Pump, you know. And I look just like the girl on the website. It hurts, but it will save me from death by the hydrogenated.

Oh, Eden Marie. I forgot. She's an angel. A solace. Corrie asked if we could make a doll for Eden for her birthday, and so we did. And I love her. And Corrie, too, who does not appreciate stuffing little long skinny legs with fluff. You did good, sis.

the doll for eden is so precious. i love it!

you crack me up with the whole 'buckets of butter' report.
you don't look like you have a problem... esp since I checked out the 'BodyPump' photo.

my hubby started p90x two nights ago... he already has quite the work out regimen... I watched him works out and I ended up out of breath. That is a harsh work out.

Love this dolly. I made a headband from your tutorial last night as part of my daughter's birthday present. After she opens it, I'll share a photo.

p.s. each time I check out your blog, I always enlarge your family photo. It just makes me happy. As I type that, I hope that isn't too creepy. :)

Jessi...I've had other people ask about a pattern for the doll, so I will have to think about that one. I just have no idea how to make a pattern!

BUT, I will try to put something together that's easy to understand.

Thanks for asking.

So cute! Ok Cally lets be honest I am never going to get fabric, so lets do this will you just get the fabric and I will pay you?? Is that possible? I am running on like 3 hrs of sleep per night and I keep not thinking about fabric. We can talk more Thursday if you want. Thanks, you are so great!

It's things like these that make me wish I had a girl for YOU to take care of.

But since wishing just isn't enough, I'll just keep commenting on my amazement of your girly crafty thingies. :)

Also, I believe that butter comes straight from God, so is it so bad if it takes us right back to Him?

I'd also love some tips on these cute dolls you make! I have to make a couple for my girls, they are so fun and unique. Anything you learned along the way that would save my grief if I just jump in and try it? Patterns are lovely, but I'd rather have some helpful tips and hints! You are so creative.
