summer improv

We have no swimmin' pool.

Improv is a vital survival technique I learned during the Mud Pie Obsession Era. "No. We're going to use pudding, sweetheart. Take the dirt back outside. please."

This Pool Parody requires large containers and kitchen paraphanelia of all sorts; no pudding.

You're good to go.

How fun and creative! There's nothing like cooling off during the hot days in a "pool." Too bad I can't fit into those buckets or tubs anymore...

good thinking -------I am with Becky, I'd love to immerse myself into some cool water - - no jumbo tubs around.

Oh, I love it. I used to do this when I ran a daycare out of my house. not only cools off but keeps kids busy. Makes for a fun day!

Were there some non-cruzes there? I didn't recognize some of those kids. Anyhow, I would have given my right arm to be in your backyard with you and your kids. I love your family. They improv quite well.

Another blogging friend has been giving her 2 year old a bath in a tote in the backyard all summer.

Next time, maybe you could improv bath time and kill two birds with one stone.

And, how do you do this every time...you always have more fun...now my backyard kiddie pool looks lame :)

Your little girl is so cute!!! I just had to tell you that!....again! Anyway, I love seeing pictures of your kids and seeing your face. THe picture of Dani i see your smile. And there is apicture on the side of one of your boys (the young one) with a towel or blanket on his head and he has your eyes. So cute. I like it because it reminds me of you in the younger years. I dare you to find that in my boys. I'm thinking Brigham is more me then any of the others. Here's hoping!

The other night Doug and I stripped down the kids after they had played in the saandbox and just squirted them down with the hose for their bath! We brought out the soap and shampoo and everyhting! It was great and the kids love something new!
