procrastination in the name of contemplation

It's almost 5 and i need to know what dinner is.

But I'm consumed. With thinking.

I'm selfish.

So I'm staring at the computer instead of making dinner.

Weny Wu HOmecoming Warrior is so cheesy. Lame. But not what I'm thinking about.

I guess we'll have fried chicken.
So get up and go. Do it. Make dinner. REady set go. Turn it off.

Okay I'm going.

Now.

You go first....

I am the natural-born QUEEN of procrastination! Seriously--bow if you want. I don't end up making 1/2 of the dinners I've planned each every week. Some days I'd rather go hungry. And if you could just see the disaster that is my apartment...

No you go first...
oh maybe you did
time difference & I just appeared on the scene... i also cheated. My hubby is having left overs from Chinese food (Sat. night) so it's a NO braineR for me.
Fried chicken --was it a winner at dinner????
ToOdLeS.
ps. you are up to 37 comments on your 'practically perfect giveaway' remember you said 20 readers and you have almost tripled that... 1/20 was not bad odds... but 1/40 and [I'm So Funny] is out recruiting more. My odds are getting worse by the minute.

yeah, when I'm procrastinating and thinking..."gee, what should I make for dinner?"...the first "simple" dish I come up with is fried chicken :)

I know! I was wondering why you didn't sign up for the swappity swap. so fun! i had an even number of participants so i didn't have a partner if you still want to do it. then i could participate too. no pressure. just don't want you to feel left out and i figured it might be a sneaky way to snag another beautiful calico creation since i never win drawings! and thanks for the hot comment. not feeling so hot, just feeling big and bloated with achey legs. the comment gave me a teeny tiny pick me up!

That's me with going to get groceries. I had to make a Roast last night because it was all I had in the freezer. We didn't even eat it because the kids reminded me about the open house at school. So today I still have no groceries, but we will have roast beef sandwiches for dinner...with eggs...I have eggs. and a few stubby carrots left in the bag.
ugh.

Why is it that we don't think about dinner till 5 o'clock? Well, I think about it periodically throughout the day, wondering what masterpiece I should create....but I rarely get serious about it till 5. And then it's too late.

Those nights are either hamburger helper or hamburgers. And I'll need to run to the store for buns and fixins. (I swear I'm not a hick.)

I heart you cally.
