my sister's a good writer. for real.

Read this.

It provokes thought. And gratitude. And a love of lobsters.

She is a great writer. Tragic news like this is so heartbreaking and it forces you to re-evaluate your perspective on life. Which your sister did beautifully. Thanks for sharing.

Stories like that always FORCE you to realize how fragile life really is--there's no way to plan for and prevent accidents like that.

She is an amazing writer. Everyone in your family is so talented.

All I can say is WOW - - not a good thing to read this while you are sitting at your desk at work and the tears are falling on your computer.

I should have saved her writings for tomorrow... I didn't. You are not kidding with this being able to provoke thoughts & feelings. How sad for Joe's family. None of us know when our return trip is scheduled... guess we better live each day like it is our last... cause we never know if it will be.

That was very thought provoking and it is so true. I think I was crying while I was reading it because I am not alway the best of enjoying the moment. Life is fragile and short and enjoying the moment makes a whole lot more sense than worrying about it.

Wow! It really makes you think. The old saying "stop and smell the roses", really fits.
