I'm a little stressed out. I don't mind sharing.
I've got an Andre the Giant sized handful of projects and orders to get out before Christmas, and even though I'm sewing like a mad momma...where are the finished products?
I'll tell ya. They're in the flooded toilets. The pukey sheets. The sibling rivalry.
They're stuck in the sucker punch that caused a good week's worth of contention, squashing all hopes of brotherly love. They're in the goldfish and vanilla wafers building their own community under my couch. They're all wrapped up in the day Kacie could reach the door handles; and destroy whatever is at peace within.
The cushion forts. The diaper rash. The abyss of menu planning. The advil.
They're in that place in my head where logic meets exhaustion.
Interruptions.
Whoa, I guess I just called those interruptions kids. yikes.
I suppose if my chidren were publicly whining about their stress levels, they would call the interrruptions projects.
woops.
sorry kiddos.
To those of you who are patiently waiting on me for goodies, thank you for not sending me emails in CAPS. I apologize. I'm working, I promise.

i know the pain.....
You sew standing up? Wow.
Sorry your stressed. If I even knew how to sew on a button, I'd rush over to help ya.....but sadly, you would never have any orders again if I pitched it I am afraid. You can handle it....You ARE super mom!
i'm impressed by the stand up sewing also...
i can only get stuff done between bedtime and 4am...
good luck!
good luck, girlie. Maybe taking a day off would help? Or hurt. I dunno.
The kids *themselves* aren't interruptions, just everything they do. It's okay. We all feel like that sometimes.
once again, good luck. Eat some double stuffs. =D

so true. so true wonder woman.
I suppose if my little lovlies sat still and never threw things, ever, I'd get a lot done...that didn't pertain to them.
Balance is the key, and I'm just a little wobbly, for the moment.
Stress isn't a surrender. It's a catapult. (ooh, that's good.)
And yup guys, I sew standing up. With a bottle of xango in my right hand. Always.
You're adorable. Hang in there buttercup. And just keep on keepin' on.
Seeing you standing there with your one foot up on your knee makes me smile. And miss you. you have always done that.
I'm right there with you. Although I don't bead standing up:) I just got 8 more orders before my christmas rush. So this is what I was thinking. If You don't mind me holding your project off a bit; I don't mind you holding off mine. up to you. but I think we both would understand. I sure do love you! And I am always amazed with what you can do.
Oh also, I am so putting your new quote on my fridge. That WAS good!
It's ok Cally dear. Kids have learned to survive mom's and their projects and STUFF for eons. I still have undone projects from when my kids were little ---------ah, undone for eternity. Will I be judged on that. Hope not, I am famous for "undone" and after awhile you forget what you were supposed to do?? Old age is great that way.
one thing at a time. it's all good!
I am amazed at how much you do!! I only have 3 kids..and they are big enought o take care of things themselves for the most part..and I still can't keep my house clean and laundry done and everything else!! You must have an energy button that I don't have!!!
Cally, you are amazing. You can do it!
PS- I noticed the Xango...that is who I work for! Small world.
Cally, you are darling! I hope you are not stressing over MY project, that can wait. I would much prefer to get it AFTER Christmas, so you can enjoy the holidays a tiny bit. I know what it's like to over do things, and have ruined Christmas for myself more than once! Not fun!
PS What is Xango? And Strongbad? That was...funny...but I didn't quite get it completely.
Heather...xango is a delicious expensive drink that will save your life. It has xanthones, which give you superpowers, from a fruit called the mangosteen found in a foreign country. They can't ship the fruit here, so they made a drink.
Good stuff. It has helped with my dad's neuropathy.
Strongbad is just funny. You're not supposed to get it completely. Just funny.
I had to do a double take when I saw the peddle to your machine. I saw you have already confirmed in the comments...but I still can't believe it. I have never thought about even trying to sew standing up. I guess it makes multitasking easier?!!
love this picture of you!
