i heart bag giveaway.

An emergency announcement, with a tinge of sorrow...

I had an unfortunate experience as I washed this wonderful bag of mine. It krinkled. The exterior fabric came through the ordeal okay, but the liner went all krinkly on me. Upon further investigation, I found I am not the only one who has experienced this unfortunate..ness with one of my bags. Oh big huge bummer of my soul.

SO...if you've purchased a bag from me...don't wash it. Spot clean it, or dry clean it. I am frustrated and disappointed, because I've washed my bags before and this hasn't happened. I'm thinking it's something gone awry with the fusing I'm now using. Apparently it goes wonky in the wash. If you've had any kind of problem with something you've purchased from me, please let me know. I am very sorry.

I ironed my i heart bag, and it's better, but every time I look at it I see a broken laundered soul. So I'm giving it away. You can't complain that the inside is a little wrinkled...because it's free. And it's clean. And it's pretty.

Leave a comment, before midnight Thursday, August 28. Best comment wins. Just kidding, I'll put your names in a hat and post the winner Friday morning.

I'm off to find chats about wonky fusing. This situation must be rectified forthwith. (I think rectify is one of those words I'm not quite comfortable with.)

Happy giveaway day.

First comments wins! Woo hoo!

I am only just learning what a talented, crafty woman you are and I heart this bag! Seriously. It's friggin' adorable. And I don't have a bag like it. I would love one. Even washed and crinkly. At least now I don't feel like *I* can ruin it. :o)

This bag is just too cute. Pick me. Choose me. Love me.

pick me! pick me! I love you and your heart bag. I love all your creations. I'm patient, kind and loving. It would go to a good home. I would care for it and love it and admire it. I think wrinkles add character, just look at my face. I'll be your best friend.

Oh how sad for you to find this out but alas wrinkles are one of those funny things I like to try to iron them out of my face but alas it does not work so well. I am learning to love my wrinkles and I would love your wrinkles in the heart bag as well. TRUE LOVE FOREVER!!!

Sigh...When I see those hearts, I think of how my heart is now complete from our newly rekindled friendship (and a whole bunch of other shmoozy words...)

I'm usually pretty lucky. When I worked at McDonald's in downtown Westerville, my coworkers didn't like me cuz I kept winning the prize drawings. Still have the little boombox I won! Here's to luck. (Or you can just pick me and no one will ever know it wasn't random. I'll never tell! shhhh....)

xoxo! :)

You're just giving it away?! Howz about a trade? You can have any one of my five little monsters...you can pick which one you want, even. Which of yours needs a new little friend? =) It would have to be short term, however. I'd miss one too much...eventually. =)

If I put more than one comment do I get more than one entry? I wish I was you Cally, so I could just make myself a beautiful bag because you are so wonderful and perfect.

the 'i heart bag' is adorable.

i think you need to remember that even new clothes don't stay new forever.... and if one of your bags looks like brand new after a year... that means nobody loved it.

i love my calico creation...
even if it krinkled... it doesn't look like it did when you sent it, but it sure does look loved!!!!!

ps. quit beating yourself up. the new product you used was certainly not your fault.

Well, forthwith is certainly a good word. It makes me want to read a classic book and in a hurry!
Oooh, this bag would be perfect for toting a book.
I want it! It is SOO cute!

Oh Cally I need this Bag!!! I have only boys and the need for girly heart shaped things is overwelming!!!

I hope your not beating yourself up about this. I do have to say I have been there. The first time I decided to sell my bracelets I was doing it at a craft bizzar. I didn't sell that many and that turned out to be a blessing. Because every bracelet I sold came back to me broken. Most of them came back within the hour I sold them. I was devastated and told myself I would never do this again. But when I did start up selling again I realized that because of my mistake I knew how to make a better product. Your bags were as close to perfect as they could be and now they will be even closer. We share the same favorite disney movie. "Keep moving forward" comes to mind. My favorite part of that movie is when the future family is eating together and in dinner conversation they are congratulating someone on another mistake or failure. Because with each mistake they get closer to success. So here's to you Cally!! I bet you can see perfection beaming right around the corner now. Keep your head up and KEEP MOVING FORWARD! You truly are very talented. I am so glad that we connected again. I have really enjoyed getting to know you all over again. And your charm bracelet is going to be great!!!! I already have all these ideas for it. I'll get in touch with you on that here soon! I love you!!!

I am quite certain that the wrinkles merely add a little touch of character to the bag. (not that your bag needs a touch of character -- it's lovely!) Who cares about wrinkles on the inside?? Not I!

This bag is awesome Cally! It looks like you have lots of takers willing to give it a happy home! :)

I think we've all established that we LOVE it!! lol

But, seriously...you know you love me. I've know you for like what ...forever! Deep in your heart, you know you'll pull my name miraculously out of that hat. Lol...just kidding!!

I hope I win! It's beautiful. Like everything you do! I have been meaning to ask, did I make it to your unofficial list for the quiet book? I know there's not much hope, but I assume you'll let me know?! And I can't believe you're giving the I Heart bag away. I would still buy it. Lots of people would.

Wrinkles can't be any worse that stains from the chocolate bar I put in my bag so it wouldn't melt in the van. Oops. Soft chocolate really melts fast. (Lindt swiss chocolate in the fancy schmancy candy bar aisle. gotta try it. it's worth the stain http://www.worldwidechocolate.com/shop_lindt_181.html)

oh, did i mention that i'm in the market for a new bag since the unfotunate chocolate incident???
