recycled clothes. my new favorite thing...to think about.

So I was going through the bag of goodwill clothes that's been in the corner of my room waiting for me to have the time to consign it and maybe make a buck, and I found this cute shirt. I thought...this is a cute shirt.

So I tried to recycle. Go green, you know. I pulled out some more stained throw-aways to add to the lonely tree mix.

Well. Poor shirt. I had good intentions. I love Kacie's quirky new dress, but I need to learn a bit more about reattaching stretchy sleeves before I go all earthy again. The whole football shoulder pad thing wasn't the look I was going for.

Research...and then Reduce. Reuse. Recycle.

    aw, dangit. i was waiting for you to hand down that yellow striped shirt. what's with this consigning idea? elliot's wardrobe DEPENDS upon your hand-me-downs!!! I forbid you to frequent goodwill. do you hear me?! FORBID!!!
    (ahem. if kacie doesn't like the recyclable look... yellow striped sleeves are better than nothing.)
